I am Jennifer Lorton, and I am the founder of Journey Home Made, a mobile design, photography, and art studio. My artwork typically includes layered textures, typography, and hand painted brushwork. Often inspired by the exploration of nature and adventure. My artwork can be found online, through several online retailers (such as Society 6, Red Bubble, etc). Original art and handmade items can be purchased through this site (please click link above). I also enjoy custom work and teaching painting classes. Collaborations are welcomed.

Journey Home Made began with a purge project and inspiration from the tiny house movement. As I parted with stuff, I fell in love with the idea of having less, but living more richly. I invite you to join my Journey as I explore new places, have adventures, and see the sights. My mobile mercantile/tiny house (a converted school bus named Cozy) will brake for all beautiful, exotic, curious, and enchanting locations. Let's experience simple delicious food, paint with abandon, hunt for treasures, see spectacular sights, and dance if the mood strikes. Climb aboard the gypsy wagon and enjoy the Journey.
► Nature is my muse. Flowers (peonies are my favorite), foliage, waves, tall grass, and vistas make me swoon.
► I am an artist through and through. A paint brush fits comfortably in my hand. Creative ideas flow through me like a river.
► My personal aesthetic is white-on-white, with soft velvety grays, and beautiful neutrals. Subtle patterns and lots of texture excite and relax me all at the same time (how is that possible?).
► Instagram and Pinterest get my creative juices flowing. Stop by and visit, I have collected lots of wonderful things for you to look at!
► I'm obsessed with tiny houses, and I love my bus/home.
► I have a furry copilot, named Furgus. He is a Lynx Point Siamese, and a total joy!
